Lenton Road Right of Way
NPEL Members voted at the a General Meeting in January that NPEL would not proceed with an application for judicial review of the decision made by the inspector to uphold the Modification Order imposed on Lenton Road, and it will therefore remain a public right of way. The gate has therefore been removed as directed by Nottingham City Council, and a new gating order has been applied for.
We encourage you to join the NPRA (not linked to the NPEL), who organise events and social activities, promote wildlife and biodiversity, publish the Park News magazine, and also provide a range of discounts with the Park Card - for just £10 per year.
NPEL and the NPRA have recently sponsored the 'Wildlife Enhancement Plan' - a research project that has many useful suggestions for how we can all help to support our amazing natural heritage.
