Joint Neighbourhood Watch Conference - NottsWatch and City of Nottingham NHW Council

23/08/2011

Notts Watch and the City of Nottingham Neighbourhood Watch Conference October 2011

Members of Neighbourhood Watch across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire are invited to an annual conference in October.
NottsWatch and the City of Nottingham Neighbourhood Watch Council have joined forces to introduce the joint conference for the first time.

Both organisations are working closely together in the interests of Neighbourhood Watch schemes across Nottinghamshire and the event will be an opportunity for co-ordinators and members to get up to speed on the changes that have occurred over the last 18 months.

Guest speakers will include Nottinghamshire Police’s Assistant Chief Constable Paul Scarrott, who is responsible for Neighbourhood Policing in the county, National NHW Network chair Jim Madden and a member of Nottinghamshire Police Authority.

Attendees will get the opportunity to quiz a panel about local issues and there will be the chance to browse stands set up by local security companies and organisations, such as Trading Standards.

The event will be held on Saturday 22 October at Nottinghamshire Police’s Arrow Centre, in Annesley Road, Hucknall.
Registration begins at 9.30am and the conference will close around 2.15pm.

Questions for the panel must be emailed to
neil.bettison@nottscc.gov.uk before Friday 23 September.

Members can register their attendance for the conference by emailing enquiry@nottswatch.co.uk or by phoning 01623 473869. Please note there are only 120 places available so places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
The confirmed event programme will be published soon.
